Free to Live through Restoration Services
We've worked with a lady who was sold when she eight years old and another who was sold when she was nine years old. After being subjected to years of exploitation through the prostitution and pornography trades, they find themselves wondering where they fit in with society. When society sees them, they see only the external picture and determine that this is a girl who made some poor choices. If only more people could see into their back stories, more compassion would be stirred, and more action would be taken.
When victims of trafficking have tried to make legal reports to seek help, they are often told that they are not a credible witness and their case is rejected, and they are left without resources, justice, or assistance.
GO:61 strives to restore those affected by human trafficking and exploitation by providing direct and indirect victim services. From safe lodging in a crisis to case management, basic needs provision, and on-going restoration programs, every act is undergirded in prayer and undertaken by trained and compassionate team members.

Every victim is unique. Some victims are more resilient than others and will bounce back to a healthy and safe state with startling efficiency. Others are so impacted by trauma that there is no way to gauge the potential span and time for their recovery. Each victim has different needs and nearly all victims require several or all of the above resources and forms of assistance.
GO:61 serves . . .
- Victims of trafficking
- Individuals who want to leave the commercial sex trade
- Victims of past or present extreme violence and sexual exploitation/assault who have never found healing
- Individuals of previous trafficking or prostitution who lack support
Services are provided on a case-by-case basis to individuals 18 and older. If it is determined that an individual may best be served by another agency or through a collaboration of agencies, appropriate referrals and facilitation will be made. GO:61's mercy ministry also provides basic needs assistance and mentoring on a case-by-case basis to women and families who are deemed high-risk and who have a lack of support.
GO 61 is an equal opportunity organization and will not discriminate provision of services on the basis of race, age, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, religious preference or lack of it, gender, or disability.
